Having a bit of a rough time lately. Making a lot of big decisions and realizing some things about myself and my goals.

I Netflixed "The Cat Returns" and it is such an adorable movie! Studio Ghibli's films are all amazing. Always good for a pick-me-up and a good cheerful story.

I've also revived my adoration for Case Closed--I used to watch it late at night on Adult Swim until they took it off, but now they have it On Demand. Jimmy and Rachel are so cute. She's so dedicated to the poor guy. The show is a thousand seasons long, though, I don't think I'll ever see the end. If there IS an end!

Also, sort of sick of CLAMP. Yes, they're the most popular female mangaka team in Japan. BUT THEY ARE EVERYWHERE ARGH. I don't really like their stuff anymore, either. I think Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles or wtf kind of did it. Just. Augh. And don't get me started on Bleach--Tite Kubo is out of freaking control, introducing five new characters an episode and THEN YOU NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN ARGH. Also a lot more behind that hate but STILL.

I only have one real fleshed out character. And that is kind of a failure on my part but whatever. xD

So off I go to... get a handle on things. Have a good one, everybody.

Halloween is just around the corner, and I am so excited. I can't wait for all the candy. Sitting around playing MMOs and eating Milk Duds is going to make me fat and happy.

It was recently suggested to me that I start taking commissions--and while being paid for art is a DREAM, I still do not feel that I have the talent, time, or tools to do what it takes to produce something that people should pay for.

However, I would love to take suggestions or requests for sketches, or even stories. It would help me practice as well as let some people get free art.

My mediums are limited to:
Paper
Pencils
Sakura pens (for inking lines, not coloring)
Colored pencils
Watercolors (my experience with these are VERY limited)
A scanner

I don't have any picture editing programs, and my access to them at school is only occasional, when I have free time between classes. I also don't feel very comfortable drawing anthro or smut or anthro smut in the middle of the school library, for obvious reasons.

However, despite these setbacks, I am optimistic. If you have suggestions, requests, or outstanding warrants, feel free to note me or leave a comment or whisper me on Furc. They can be of your character, a tv show or movie character (if I don't know who they are, I'll google or wiki them) or just a random idea you want to be thrown out on paper.

Umbra's story is still stewing along in my mind. Prepare for some hot smut in the near future. I have it well put together in my mind, it's just getting to the good parts while slogging through all the details in between. This is my first smut story, so be nice.

And Aselaine's tale will update randomly and in no particular chronological order. Just whenever it suits me.

I find I have been spending more money than I mean to as of late--my hours at work have been cut back drastically, rent consumes most of my paycheck, and I have this horrible urge to eat on a regular basis. I think if I somehow learned to subsist on the ether, I could become a superentity living by the power of the internet alone. I could be immortal!

Anyway, college classes continue to be boring (augh!) work continues to be, ah, interesting, and I'm only 22% from level 30 on PW! Come visit me on the Sanctuary server.
